Events take place in or depart from the Rothes Halls, at the west end of the Kingdom Shopping Centre in Glenrothes. See on Google Maps.

The Rothes Halls are fully accessible:

  • Accessible entrances and automatic doors.
  • Induction loop in main auditoriums.
  • Changing Places toilet facilities on ground floor.
  • Adapted toilet facilities on first floor.
  • All floors of the venue accessible via lift.
  • Disabled parking spaces available in adjacent car parks.
  • Guide dogs welcome.
  • Changing facilities available.
  • Breastfeeding supported.
  • High chairs available in the café.
  • Wheelchair spaces available in the main auditorium — book in advance.

  • Venue staff have undergone dementia awareness training.

Val McDermid and our Glenrothes Debate will both have BSL Interpretation.

The Teeger that Cam for his Tea is specially created for people of any age with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Directions

By car: Glenrothes is on the A92. Once in central Glenrothes, Rothes Halls is well signposted. There are several car parks adjacent to the venue. For full parking details, visit onfife.com.

By bus: Glenrothes Bus Station is east of the Kingdom Shopping Centre, a five-minute walk from Rothes Halls.

By train: Markinch Station is 2.6 miles from Glenrothes, around six minutes drive time. Thornton Station is 4 miles from Glenrothes, around ten minutes drive time.

Eating and Drinking:

The Rothes Halls Café is open daily from 8.30am – 5pm during ReimagiNation.

Note, hot meals won’t be served after 2.30pm. The bar will be open throughout the day until the final event begins.
